As the Işıkevi Education and Solidarity Foundation, acting as data controller under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), we process your personal data as described below.
Data processed and purposes
- Donors: name, contact details, donation amount and receipt information, processed to receive the donation, issue e-receipts and meet legal obligations.
- Volunteers: contact, occupation and availability details, processed for volunteer matching and event organisation.
- Scholarship applicants: identity, household income and achievement documents, processed to assess the application. Data of minors is collected with the explicit consent of a parent or guardian.
Transfer and retention
Your data is not shared with third parties except as required by law; it is passed on only as needed to the payment institution, the auditor and authorised public bodies. Financial records are kept for the statutory period and other data until its purpose ends.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, request correction or deletion, and object to processing. Send your requests to info@isikevivakfi.org.tr.
Security measures
Your personal data is stored in systems with restricted access rights over encrypted connections. Scholarship application documents are kept in a separate area visible only to volunteers on the assessment panel, and documents of rejected applications are deleted within 12 months after assessment. Your card details are never stored on foundation systems.
